Job Description

The Associate, Technical Sales is responsible for generating new business and ensuring the growth of existing accounts within assigned territories. This position assesses customer needs, provides technical solutions, and fosters strong relationships to promote sales opportunities while resolving customer issues and delivering training. Ultimately, he/she/they leverages deep product knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction and support overall sales objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Attend customer meetings and conduct sales presentations to understand client needs and demonstrate relevant products and services.
• Support pre-sales activities and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process.
• Assist partners in resolving technical roadblocks and provide guidance on technical solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations to support sales opportunities.
• Identify customer needs and recommend competitive solutions aligned with their business requirements.
• Advise customers and sales teams on the technical aspects of products and services.
• Conduct training sessions to help clients better understand and utilise the products.
• Follow up on sales opportunities and enquiries to maintain engagement and build strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and build relationships with decision-makers at different levels.

Requirements

• Must have cloud experience, preferably in a technical sales, pre-sales or solution consulting environment.
• Cloud certifications are good to have, such as GCP, Azure or AWS.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional and confident in building relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
• Able to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
