SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Functional Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess current business processes and identify opportunities to deliver measurable business value.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder engagements and workshops.
• Translate business needs into scalable, technology-enabled solutions and target operating models.
• Develop business cases, including benefits, impacts, risks, and implementation considerations.
• Lead and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to define requirements and align expectations.
• Create and maintain detailed process, functional, and solution documentation.
• Serve as the SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) subject matter expert, providing guidance and best practices to project teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
• Drive business transformation initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Lead team discussions, contribute to key project decisions, and provide solutions to complex business challenges.
• Continuously evaluate and improve business processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) functional consulting, solution architecture, or business process transformation.
• Strong experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process design.
• Proven experience leading workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Experience developing business cases and supporting large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
• Experience working in large enterprise SAP implementation or transformation projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP SD Certification preferred.
• Experience integrating SAP SD with other SAP modules such as MM, FI/CO, WM/EWM, or CRM.
• Experience in business architecture, operating model design, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation projects is highly desirable.
• Experience working with shared services organizations or multinational corporations.
