Location: Everett, WA (On-Site)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Compensation: $24-$33 per hour DOE

Alpha Home Health & Hospice is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our Palliative Care and Hospice programs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments, home visits, and follow-up care
- Communicate with patients, families, providers, referral sources, pharmacies, and community partners
- Document patient updates, symptoms, and clinical information in the EMR
- Process provider orders, medication changes, and care plan updates
- Assist with hospice and palliative care referrals, admissions, and scheduling
- Support care transitions between hospitals, home health, palliative care, and hospice services
- Manage inbound and outbound calls, messages, and patient inquiries
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families
- Identify and communicate changes in patient condition to the clinical team
- Assist with advance care planning documentation and care coordination
- Maintain accurate and timely records while ensuring compliance with agency procedures
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience in hospice, palliative care, home health, geriatrics, primary care, or care coordination required
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to patient care
