Description
The City of Bothell is seeking a Storm Public Works Maintenance Worker, Senior to join the Utilities Division. This position plays a vital role in maintaining safe and reliable storm infrastructure throughout the community. This position performs hands-on maintenance and repairs, operates specialized equipment, and responds to stormwater emergencies and community concerns.
- Default schedule will be the following: Mondays-Thursdays (4/10) every Friday off (6:00 am - 4:30 pm)
- Storm Inspection & Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and maintain stormwater systems to ensure proper drainage and prevent flooding.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain heavy equipment and specialized vehicles used for stormwater maintenance and repairs.
- Utility Locating & Repairs: Locate and mark underground utilities and perform repairs to stormwater lines, manholes, and drainage structures.
- Safety & Environmental Compliance: Follow safety, environmental, and erosion control requirements; establish traffic control and secure work zones.
- Record Keeping & Emergency Response: Complete work orders and daily records; respond to flooding, spills, weather emergencies, and drainage complaints.
