  • Support service users in accessing resources and services to increase their recovery capital and achieve recovery goals.
  • Work in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team and provide guidance to managers and colleagues.
  • Comply with monitoring and evaluation systems, collect and monitor information, and provide reports when required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with organisational guidelines.
  • Comply with the organisation's Code of Conduct and Safeguarding policies.
  • Reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the community.
  • Participate in supervision and reflect on interpersonal dynamics within the therapeutic relationship.
  • Uphold data protection legislation and service user confidentiality agreements.
  • Provide a full range of services in an outreach and in-reach capacity.

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:

  • The successful applicant must have some experience within substance misuse, recovery support or a similar type of role.
  • Compassion and kindness to provide effective support and care to service users.
  • Resilience to handle challenging situations and maintain a positive outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.

A full driving licence and the ability to drive are essential requirements for this role. Access to and use of your own vehicle for work purposes is desirable.
