Job Description Summary:
This job manages assigned insurance products and projects, contributing to the day-to-day business operations and ensuring adherence toall applicable industry regulations and internal policies. This role supports product management by conducting in-depth analysis, defining
product requirements, and assisting in the development of product strategies specific to insurance offerings.
This role will primarily be responsible for assisting and completing regulatory filings.
Job Description
- Ensure compliance with insurance industry regulations and internal policies.
- May provide business training on existing products as well as training on product changes. Provide subject matter expertise and consultation for product management.
- Conduct competitor analysis, assessing their insurance product offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing tactics.
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Healthcare Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of relevant experience in product management or a related field within the insurance industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Understanding of product management principles and methodologies within the insurance sector.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ACA and small group insurance products.
