Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer in either Peachtree City, GA or Moon Township, PA.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

## What you’ll do:
Eaton’s Energy Transition business is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the development, integration, testing, and validation of battery energy storage and EV charging solutions. This is an early-career opportunity to gain hands-on experience with power electronics, energy storage, EV charging, controls, and system integration, while working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Support the design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of BESS, EV charging, and electrification systems.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Support integration and validation of batteries, power conversion systems, controls, and communication interfaces.
- Perform laboratory testing, collect and analyze data, and help troubleshoot electrical and system-level issues.
- Collaborate with electrical, firmware/software, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Support prototype builds, design reviews, product validation, certification, and field commissioning activities.
- Develop test procedures, engineering reports, and work instructions.
- Contribute to product safety, reliability, quality, and performance improvements
## Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution (December 2026 grads are eligible to apply!)
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant engineering experience, which may include internship, co-op, research, or significant hands-on project experience.

- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Moon Township PA or Peachtree City GA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework or hands-on experience in power electronics, such as converters, inverters, DC/DC converters, motor drives, or power supplies.
- Exposure to battery energy storage, EV charging, renewable energy, or power distribution systems.
- Familiarity with batteries, BMS, power conversion systems, or energy management/control systems.
- Familiarity with CAN, Modbus, or other industrial communication protocols.
- Firmware/programming experience using C/C++, Python, embedded systems, or microcontrollers is a plus.
- Mechanical or electromechanical design aptitude is a plus.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, data acquisition systems, or CAN tools is preferred.
## Skills:
- Fundamental knowledge of electrical circuits, power electronics, power systems, or controls.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience using basic electrical laboratory equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to electrical safety and safe work practices.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and interest in power electronics and electrification.
- Hands-on technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to support domestic and international travel up to 10%.
