Description
Salary range: $235K - $305K
Location: California (Remote)
Visa Sponsorship Details: Not open to any visas (e.g. US citizen, Green Card holders)
Remote work policy: Flexible hybrid or fully remote work options available. The role is based out of the Los Angeles office at 707 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 5150, Los Angeles, CA 90017 but given this office team generally operates remotely, remote across CA is on the table.
About this role
What we're looking for:
We need an accomplished attorney with at least 8 years of California employment litigation experience who has a strong track record of independently managing sophisticated single-plaintiff, class action, and PAGA matters. You should be comfortable leading complex litigation from strategy through trial and serving as a trusted advisor to clients ranging from regional businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Employer-side experience is preferred.
What you'll do:
- Lead single-plaintiff, class action, collective action, and PAGA matters through all phases of litigation, from inception through trial and arbitration
- Take ownership of case strategy and execution, collaborating closely with relationship partners to deliver exceptional client outcomes
- Direct discovery efforts, take and defend depositions, and work with expert witnesses on complex employment matters
- Draft and argue dispositive and other significant motions, including class certification and summary judgment
- Appear in court, represent clients at trial and in arbitration proceedings, and lead settlement negotiations and mediations
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employer clients across a range of industries on California labor and employment law matters, including FEHA-related claims, wage and hour issues, and workplace compliance
