  • Monitor system logs and alerts to proactively identify and resolve performance or security issues and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective use of Epic tools.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards in all system configurations and data handling.
  • Collaborate with data warehouse and integration teams to support ETL processes and ensure data consistency across platforms.
  • Participate in change control processes, including version control, impact analysis, and deployment planning.
  • Participate in Epic upgrade cycles, including performing unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new builds and enhancements.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of custom scripts, workflows, and rules engines within Epic to meet business requirements.
  • Design, implement, and support integrations between Epic and third-party applications.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure Epic system configurations align with organizational security policies and best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior analysts by sharing knowledge, reviewing work, and guiding professional development.
  • Represent the IT Epic team in governance meetings, project planning sessions, and vendor discussions.
  • Contribute to the development of team standards, best practices, and documentation frameworks.
  • Support change management efforts by helping stakeholders understand the impact of system changes and by delivering clear, user-friendly training or presentations.

Supporting Responsibilities:

  • Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations.
  • Follow the PacificSource privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations concerning confidentiality and security of protected health information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
