Position Summary
Road & Rail Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations at a busy vehicle-processing facility. This position handles operational paperwork, maintains accurate records, communicates with site employees, and provides administrative assistance to help the team meet its daily objectives.
The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to adjust as operational needs change. Although many responsibilities are completed in an office environment, this position may require working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Process, review, and organize operational paperwork.
Enter and update information accurately in company systems and spreadsheets.
Check documents for missing, incomplete, or incorrect information.
Work with site employees and supervisors to support efficient operations.
Prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents.
Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
Respond to telephone calls, emails, and routine requests.
Track assignments and complete time-sensitive work by established deadlines.
Provide general administrative support to management and staff.
Handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
At least one year of administrative experience.
At least one year of customer-service experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Ability to type at least 30 words per minute with minimal errors.
Strong data-entry, organization, and time-management skills.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
Flexibility to respond to changing priorities.
Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions.
Valid state-issued driver's license required to operate company equipment.
