Director Institutional Sales International (m/f/d) - Capital Raising

Your responsibilities

• Build, develop, and manage relationships with sophisticated institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and endowments through disciplined and systematic engagement, ensuring consistent and high-quality contact
• Drive new business development by originating, cultivating, and converting investor relationships into capital commitments across target markets: Netherlands, United Kingdom, Canada, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Middle East, and Asian investors via European hubs
• Raise equity capital across a diversified product range: open-ended and closed-ended special AIFs, individual mandates, private placements, and club deals
• Implement and execute the international distribution strategy in close coordination with Fund Management, Transaction teams, Business & Product Development, and senior leadership
• Analyse investor profiles, investment strategies, and portfolio requirements to provide tailored investment solutions
• Leverage and expand the existing investor network within the framework of the HIH Group’s broader service offering
• Represent HIH Invest at international investor conferences, roadshows, and industry events to enhance market presence and brand recognition
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of new product ideas, ensuring product design is aligned with evolving investor demand

We are looking for

• Several years of relevant international professional experience in international sales with demanding institutional clients, ideally in the distribution of alternative private markets and real estate investment products
• An existing international client network in the target markets
• A successfully completed university degree, ideally complemented by an additional real-estate-specific qualification
• A highly sales-driven mindset and approach, strong self-organization, assertiveness, and communication skills, as well as a confident and professional demeanor
• A high degree of independence in client management and outstanding goal- and results-oriented skills
• Fluent in business-related English; additional language skills as well as German language skills are an advantage
• Confident handling of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and openness to working with our CRM system
