Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Conwy to assist with the appointment of an Administrative Assistant, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £13.05 - £16.88 per hour
Summary:
We're looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide high-quality administrative support to Children's Social Care teams. This role involves supporting Safeguarding, Looked After Children, Family Support & Intervention, and Vulnerable People services through accurate administration, minute-taking, and data management. Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and resilience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional administrative support to Children's Social Care teams.
- Take accurate minutes during safeguarding and other statutory meetings.
- Input and maintain accurate data and case records.
- Manage confidential and sensitive information in line with GDPR.
- Support day-to-day business operations and assist with general administrative tasks.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
Essentials:
- Previous experience in an administrative or business support role.
- Experience with minute-taking and accurate data entry.
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
