About the role
The Digital Product Owner ideally has a strong understanding and good experience of the Unified Communications Products and needs which he translates into a Digital portal that provides our customers and internal teams an innovative solution through an outstanding digital user experience.
The Product Owner is the key person in any Digital agile project, taking the lead in many areas of Portal / product development. He sets product strategy, prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate product schedules with the development teams.
The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value of the product; he defines the backlog tasks for the development team, prioritizes them based on user’s feedback and ensures that the needs and objectives of all stakeholders are met.
He translates the business needs from the build and the Transversal teams to the development team and ensures the business needs are integrated into the new releases of the portals / products
As a Product Owner, you never stop learning, gaining new perspectives and ways of solutions as a result of your involvement with project stakeholders. A PO must acquire excellent communication and presentation skills that allow him to get buy-in from all stakeholders on all major decisions, anticipate user needs and problems, as well as managing user feedback. Also, making sure that the team has a cohesive vision, which is clear and aligned with business objectives.
The DPO is accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product.
About you
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Telecommunications / Software development / IT field.
- Adequate knowledge of the Unified Communication products.
- BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar relevant field.
- Project Management experience of minimum 5 years.
- Project Management certification.
- Good knowledge of agile processes and principles.
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
You bring open mindedness, ability to handle pressure, leading with courage and empathy, assertiveness and communicate effectively.
