About the role:
As a Barista, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Services Maroochydore.
St Vincent’s Care Services Maroochydore is a modern, lifestyle-oriented aged care service located in a master-planned community precinct within walking distance of restaurants and shops centre on Queensland’s famed Sunshine Coast.
This is a Permanent part-time opportunity with AM shifts available 7 days /week.

Things that work for us:
- Preparing high-quality coffee and other cafe beverages for our residents and customers.
- Food Handler Certificate, Allergen Management and Barista courses highly regarded.
- Assisting with food preparation, stock management, and general cafe duties as required.
- Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment desirable, providing services that support high-quality food services outcomes for residents, customers and staff of the Facility
- High level of customer service skills
- Flexibility to work morning shifts across the week
- Willingness to work in the kitchen or on serving, completing wash-up duties, unloading deliveries &/or whatever is required to provide an excellent food service for our residents
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- An ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation, and food safety standards
- An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
