Job Responsibilities:
• Leads a large supply chain planning team at business group level, guides them in aligning sales forecasts with operational plans to optimize resource utilization, enhance customer service, and drive business performance.
• Formulates future strategic directions at the business group level, analyzes external market trends, assesses operational capabilities, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive plans that align with organizational goals and drive sustainable growth.
• Develops and oversees the budgeting process for the supply chain function, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, accurate forecasting of expenses, and effective allocation of resources to support operational efficiency and financial objectives.
• Leads product lifecycle management process and milestones by ensuring timely and accurate replenishment master data, participating in packaging instruction creation for suppliers, and determining shelf-life master data.
• Leads the seamless coordination between demand and supply at the business group level to optimize global product availability, addresses any deviations from predefined stock level thresholds, maintains operational efficiency and meets customer demands effectively.
• Evaluates emerging trends and identifying untapped opportunities, crucially contributes to the organization’s sustained growth and competitive edge in the market by capitalizing on innovations and market shifts to drive strategic initiatives and propel the company forward.
• Oversees global supply chain planning developments, assesses their implications within their domain, enables informed decision-making to adapt strategies, optimizes operations, and capitalizes on opportunities in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Develops long-term supply chain planning policies, articulates a clear vision and roadmap for their business group, guides its strategic direction and ensures alignment with organizational objectives to drive growth and operational excellence within the supply chain framework.
• Defines and refines improvement opportunities focusing on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and cost reduction, leverages team resources effectively to achieve organizational goals and enhance overall performance within the supply chain.
• Leads succession planning and comprehensive talent management within supply chain planning department, driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, and career development in alignment with organizational operational goals.
• Advocates supply chain planning principles, embodies these principles in all aspects of operations, champions the supply chain planning process within the market to drive alignment, enhances decision-making, and ensures optimal performance across the supply chain.
Minimum required Education:
Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Business Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Data Analysis and Statistics, Business Analytics or equivalent.
Minimum required Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 6 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, Project Management or equivalent.
