Training Administrator
Location: Scarborough
Salary: £28,000 - £29,000, depending on experience
Working Pattern: Full-time, office-based, Monday to Friday
Are you a highly organised administrator with excellent attention to detail? We're working with a well-established manufacturing business in Scarborough that is looking to recruit a Training Administrator to support its busy People team. This is a full-time, office-based role, working Monday to Friday, offering the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring employee training, compliance and records are maintained to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and book internal and external training courses for employees.
- Maintain and update the company's training matrix, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
- Carry out employee vetting and support pre-employment compliance checks.
- Monitor and verify employee clearances, ensuring all mandatory requirements are maintained.
- Update HR and training systems with training records and certification details.
- Liaise with managers and training providers to coordinate training schedules.
- Produce reports on training compliance and upcoming renewal requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider HR and People team.
- Support continuous improvements to training and compliance processes.
About You
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working with data and systems, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous administration experience, ideally within HR, training or compliance.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and business systems.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
