Customer Service Representative

JOB SUMMARY

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for all aspects of customer service including but not limited to scheduling, maintaining database, and interacting with customers to assist with questions or concerns.  

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage customer communications via calls, email, etc.
• Responsible for timely scheduling of pickups.
• Maintain customer database in all areas.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare staff pick-up and shredding routes.
• Schedule community shred events.
• Responsible for ensuring accuracy of documentation as assigned.
• Maintain and update tote counts for customers in departmental software.
• Responsible for optimal flow of documentation to the customer.
• Put new pricing into effect for new customers.
• Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate files.
• Generate reports and maintain documentation regarding progress as directed.
• Process all work orders.
• Complete all training in the assigned timeframe.
• Other duties as assigned. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged sitting 
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Strong ability to problem solve
• Must be able to work independently 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma
• 1-3 years’ experience in related field preferred 
• Experience with developmentally disabled population preferred
