About the role

Job Summary
The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for supervising procurement professionals and ensuring the effective sourcing and acquisition of goods and services. This includes managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
This job profile is intended for People Managers of 4+ junior to experienced expert-level roles.

This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium organization.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise procurement team and daily operations.
Manage sourcing, supplier selection, and contract administration.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
Support cost optimization and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and 6+ years of relevant work experience are minimally required to be able to manage and coordinate one or more expert-level teams.
Required Skills:

Knowledge of procurement processes and tools.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Supervisory and coaching abilities.
Effective communication and documentation.
Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems.
