Sales Manager

At Purolite, we're helping customers solve some of the world's most complex purification and sustainability challenges. As part of our Purification Technologies business, we're looking for a commercially minded and technical Sales Manager to lead our Australia and New Zealand business.

This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership, business development, technical expertise and people management while working with industry-leading ion exchange and purification solutions. You'll play a critical role in expanding our market presence, developing high-value customer partnerships and unlocking new opportunities.

The Opportunity

This role combines commercial leadership, technical expertise, business development and people leadership. The Sales Manager will be accountable for delivering profitable growth across the existing ANZ portfolio while accelerating penetration in strategic and emerging applications.

The successful candidate will bring deep technical and commercial understanding of ion exchange and purification applications, translate market opportunities into actionable territory strategies and develop strong customer relationships. The role will work closely across Ecolab to identify and convert opportunities where combined customer access, application expertise and technical solutions can create differentiated value.

This role is ideal for a commercially astute leader who thrives in complex technical environments and enjoys balancing strategic planning with customer-facing business development.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the execution of the ANZ sales strategy and deliver annual sales, growth and profitability objectives
• Develop territory and account strategies that balance growth of the existing business with targeted new-business development
• Build growth plans around established and emerging purification applications, translating technical capability into differentiated customer value
• Lead pricing and value-based selling strategies that support long-term profitability
• Identify untapped opportunities within existing customers and re-engage underdeveloped accounts
• Build commercial relationships across the broader Ecolab ANZ organization to identify and pursue joint customer opportunities
• Represent Ecolab at industry events, conferences and customer engagements
• Lead, coach and develop the team to deliver current performance while building capability for future growth

What We're Looking For

• Experience within the ion exchange, water treatment, purification, or related industries

• Demonstrated success in business development, account growth and strategic sales leadership

• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate market trends into prioritized commercial actions

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or related field

• Strong commercial acumen, including pricing and profitability management
• The flexibility to travel up to 60% across Australia and New Zealand
