Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit an Accounting Officer to join our client's team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Posting and verification of accounts payable and receivable invoices
- Bank reconciliations and general ledger entries
- Support in monthly and yearly closing activities (accruals, deferrals, adjusting entries)
- Routine tax compliance (VAT, F24 filings, withholding taxes)
- Fixed assets management and depreciation
- Liaising with suppliers, customers, and external consultants
- Document archiving and support during internal and external audits
Requirements:
- High school diploma in Accounting and/or a degree in Economics or related fields
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Excellent command of English; Italian knowledge is an asset.
- Proficiency in Excel and main ERP/accounting software
- Accuracy, reliability, and a strong team-oriented attitude
