Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting activities, including data entry, recording transactions, and maintaining financial records.
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and receipts, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding accounting issues or discrepancies.
- Support the accounting team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting or finance or relevant course.
- Proven work experience as an accounting assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
