Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Development Representative plays a vital role in the growth and retention of our industrial customer base. This role merges counter sales activities with time spent supporting our existing customer base on the road, as well as cold calling to bring in new business. It includes strategic account management and the mission to identify, qualify, and develop new business.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively advise customers on products, pricing, and availability while providing tailored solutions.
Identify and qualify high-potential prospects through proactive outreach, including cold-calling, networking, and lead follow-up.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to generating quotations and responding to tenders.
Receive and process customer orders accurately across multiple channels (phone, email, in-person) and coordinate timely delivery.
Promote industrial products to generate sales while identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Oversee store inventory, maintain organized product displays, and communicate replenishment needs.
Resolve customer inquiries and perform post-sales follow-ups to maintain strong relationships and client retention.
Collaborate closely with inside sales representatives and account managers to maximize market presence and achieve overall sales objectives.

Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a retail or industrial sales environment
Strong knowledge of Google Workspace (Google Suite) and general computer systems
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer service focus and a positive attitude
Ability to physically lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe working environment
Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of welding processes and products is a strong asset
Experience using SAP is an asset
