The role supports effective utilization of the Medical Information System, accurate and reliable data handling, transparent performance visibility, and continuous improvement across Medical Information services.

Job Description

Responsible for supporting Medical Information System management, end user support, data analysis, reporting, dashboarding, and system-based insight generation within the Global Medical Affairs / Medical Excellence Operations organization based out of GCC India. The role supports effective utilization of the Medical Information System, accurate and reliable data handling, transparent performance visibility, and continuous improvement across Medical Information services.

Your Key Responsibilities: 

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Support Medical Information data analytics activities, including extraction, cleaning, analysis, and maintenance of relevant data from the Medical Information System.

  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics outputs aligned to defined stakeholder requirements.

  • Support Medical Information System-related activities, including user support, user access support, onboarding / training support, and user assistance.

  • Act as Medical Information System super user and support effective system utilization across Medical Information workflows.

  • Support Medical Information System-related reporting and analytics activities, including follow-up on data issues and coordination with relevant stakeholders as needed.

  • Perform data quality checks and contribute to accurate and reliable reporting outputs.

  • Support identification of trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities through analysis of Medical Information data.

  • Maintain documentation related to reporting logic, dashboard updates, data sources, and analytics activities, contribute to performance visibility through consistent reporting and transparent analytics support for Medical Information services & support the transition and stabilization of services into GCC and contribute to process standardization and operational maturity.

What you’ll bring to the role: 

Essential Requirements: 

  • Medical Information reports, dashboards, and analytics outputs are completed accurately and within agreed timelines along with Medical Information System support, and related operational activities are completed effectively and in line with defined quality and service expectations.

  • User access support, onboarding / training, general user support, and Medical Information System issue follow-up are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.

  • Data quality and reporting reliability are maintained consistently and tracked transparently.

  • Analytics outputs support performance visibility and continuous improvement across Medical Information services.

  • Identified issues / gaps are addressed in a timely manner, with appropriate follow-up and continuous improvement actions.

  • Education: Advanced degree or equivalent qualification in life science, healthcare, pharmacy, medicine, data / analytics, technology, or related field preferred, with 5–8+ years experience in the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry, ideally with experience in Medical Information analytics, reporting, system support, data analysis, or related support models.

  • Good understanding of data extraction, reporting, dashboarding, data quality, and analytics support in a controlled / process-driven environment. Experience working in a cross-functional and global environment.

  • Demonstrated strength in data handling, reporting, process execution, documentation discipline, stakeholder coordination, and quality-oriented delivery.
