Johnson Controls helps create smarter, healthier, and more sustainable buildings. In this role, you will support controls project delivery across the UAE with a focus on reliable commissioning, customer outcomes, and smooth handover.
What You Will Do
- Support the project management team during the delivery of controls projects across the UAE.
- Contribute to configuration, integration, testing, commissioning, validation, and handover activities.
- Program controls for HVAC, VFD, FCU, and VAV systems using DDC and unitary controllers.
- Carry out calibration, testing, commissioning, and validation of FCU, VAV, chiller plant, and chilled water pump plant controls.
- Support third-party integration requirements and work with Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks, MSTP, IP, KNX, OPC, SNMP, and API-based interfaces.
- Configure OT and IT networking relevant to controls systems, develop controls graphics, and support server configuration.
- Help troubleshoot technical issues and keep project execution moving smoothly.

- Own your work with accountability, safety, and integrity from start-up through commissioning and handover.
- Stay close to the site and focus on what matters by resolving faults quickly, removing blockers, and supporting the customer and project team in real time.
- Use clear problem-solving and candid communication to diagnose hardware and software issues, align priorities, and keep commissioning on track.
- Work as one team by collaborating with project managers, engineers, technicians, and customers to deliver dependable outcomes.
- Improve every day by applying lessons learned to strengthen commissioning quality, system reliability, and handover outcomes.
- Build credibility and trust with customers while supporting the long-term performance of the installed base.
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma, preferably in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Controls.
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing installation projects for controls systems within the GCC region.
- Recent or past experience with Metasys, CCT, SCT, and MCT programming tools and third-party integration.
- Strong working knowledge of Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks, MSTP, IP, KNX, OPC, SNMP, and API-based integrations.
- Team-oriented, self-starting, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, independent, open-minded approach.
- Ability and desire to find technically and financially optimal solutions.
