Service Engineer

Electron-X provides high quality X-ray facilities and services, including large lead-lined rooms for inspection of space satellites, complex multi-axis programmable manipulators, and cabinets for inspection of small assemblies and electronic components.We are looking for a Service Engineer with an electrical/electronic bias to join our growing team as soon as possible.The role will involve:Maintaining and repairing in-house and customer x-ray machines and equipmentDiagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation faults.Managing stocks of spare parts and equipmentSome customer visits within the UKYou should have:Degree, HNC, or similar in Engineering, preferably with an electrical biasGood MS Office skills (Word & Excel) and good written and spoken EnglishAbility to learn fast and a willingness to take on new skills and responsibilitiesA wide knowledge of computers and softwareECS / CSCS card is an advantageFull clean driving licenseSpecific work experience in the x-ray sector is not required (training will be provided), but previous engineering or technological background is preferable. The role is based at our office in Milton Keynes.
