Our client is a boutique law firm based in the Greater Toronto Area, focused on real estate and corporate/commercial law. Known for personalized service, professionalism, and precision, the firm is seeking a skilled Law Clerk to support the principal lawyer across a range of real estate, transactional, and administrative matters. This is an in-office role ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-driven environment and enjoys contributing to a close-knit, high-performing legal team.

Key Responsibilities
Real Estate & Lending Transactions

Handle residential and commercial transactions from open to close

Conduct title searches and prepare documentation using Unity and Teraview

Coordinate with lenders, title insurers, and other third parties

Draft loan and mortgage documents, register PPSA filings via Ecore
-
Disburse funds and follow up on undertakings
Corporate/Commercial & Wills
-
Draft agreements, closing documents, and correspondence
-
Conduct due diligence and prepare closing packages
-
Prepare wills and powers of attorney; attend as signing witness as needed

Assist with new client intake and file organization
Administrative Support
-
Maintain calendars for closings, deadlines, and meetings

Track file progress, updates, and completions

Ensure confidentiality and accuracy across all legal documentation

Perform general office and legal support tasks as required
Qualifications
-
University degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate law within a law firm environment

Proficiency with Unity, Teraview, and Ecore is required

Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
-
Clear communication and professional conduct
Reporting
This role reports directly to the lead lawyer and other team members as assigned.
