Description
GSK are recruiting for a field based Key Account Manager covering the West Midlands territory. In this role you will combine regular in-person meetings across the West Midlands with home working, plus periodic travel within the UK.
As the Key Account Manager, you will lead strategic relationships with NHS and healthcare partners across the West Midlands. You will create and deliver account plans that improve patient access and local services. You will work closely with colleagues across commercial, medical, market access and operations.

In this role you will…
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinicians, NHS commissioners, and local healthcare stakeholders across the West Midlands.
- Create and deliver tailored account plans that align local needs with strategic objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Use clinical and health economic evidence to support local decision making and improve patient access.
- Map patient pathways, identify barriers to care and work with partners to design practical solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional activity and share insights with commercial, medical and access colleagues.Monitor performance using KPIs and customer insight, and adapt plans to meet agreed goals.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Proven experience in account management within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry or NHS in the UK
- Experience developing and delivering strategic account plans and achieving measurable commercial outcomes.
- Good understanding of NHS structures, commissioning and local decision-making processes.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with clinical and non-clinical audiences.
- Ability to work independently across a large geographic territory and manage travel effectively.
- Current ABPI certification or willingness to obtain it where applicable.
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experience supporting product launches or major service changes within the NHS.
- Knowledge of respiratory pathways, biologics or other specialised therapeutic areas.
- Experience using health economics, real-world evidence or outcomes data to support access discussions.
- Track record of working across organisational boundaries with national and local stakeholders.
