Lead, Power Platform

Overview

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Administrator to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise collaboration and business application platforms within the Microsoft ecosystem. This role will be responsible for administering Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint environments, managing application lifecycle processes, supporting governance and security standards, and enabling integrations with enterprise data platforms and data warehouses.

 

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power Platform administration, SharePoint administration, Dataverse, environment management, SDLC processes, source control practices, and enterprise data connectivity.

Responsibilities

Power Platform Administration

• Administer and manage Microsoft Power Platform environments through the Power Platform Admin Center.
• Configure and maintain tenant-level settings, governance policies, security roles, DLP policies, and environment strategies.
• Create, manage, and support Power Platform environments for development, testing, and production.
• Monitor platform health, usage, capacity, and performance metrics.
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse solutions.

Dataverse & Solution Management

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles, and data integrations.
• Create and manage managed and unmanaged solutions across environments.
• Implement and maintain solution deployment strategies aligned with SDLC best practices.
• Support application lifecycle management (ALM) processes for Power Platform solutions.

Power Platform Development, SDLC & DevOps

• Manage and support Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
• Implement deployment pipelines and release management processes for Power Platform solutions.
• Support source control and version management using GitHub.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to establish governance and deployment standards.
• Experience using Jira for Agile project management, sprint planning, backlog tracking, issue management, and development collaboration.
• Hands-on experience developing Microsoft Power Apps Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps for enterprise business solutions.
• Bonus: Experience or familiarity with the new Power Apps Code Apps and modern development capabilities within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

SharePoint Administration

• Administer and support SharePoint Online environments, sites, permissions, and content management processes.
• Configure and maintain SharePoint site collections, document libraries, lists, workflows, and security groups.
• Support governance, compliance, retention, and collaboration standards within SharePoint.
• Assist business users with SharePoint-related support and enhancements.
• Experience developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts to automate SharePoint administration, reporting, user management, permissions management, provisioning, and operational support tasks.

Data & Integrations

• Configure and support connectivity between Power Platform solutions and enterprise data sources.
• Connect Power Platform applications to Data Warehouses and other enterprise systems.
• Support integrations involving SQL Server, APIs, Dataverse, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Work with business and technical teams to support reporting and data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft Power Platform and/or SharePoint Online.
• Strong knowledge of the Power Platform Admin Center and tenant administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse administration and configuration.
• Experience creating and managing Power Platform environments.
• Experience managing managed and unmanaged solutions.
• Understanding of SDLC, ALM, and release management processes.
• Experience using GitHub or similar source control platforms.
• Experience connecting Power Platform solutions to enterprise Data Warehouses or SQL-based data sources.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and security concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft’s Power Platform (including Power Apps, Power Automate), Dataverse, SQL and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform deployments.
• Experience with Azure services and integrations.
• Familiarity with governance and compliance frameworks.
• Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform, SharePoint, or Microsoft 365 administration.
