Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr Strategic Supply Chain Manager located in Guadalajara, North.

Reporting to the Dir, Supply Chain Management, Sr Strategic Supply Chain Manager role will be responsible as the primary customer-facing role regarding materials and supply chain management for assigned customers and its programs within the Flex Lifestyle Segment. The SSCM will attend to customer and operational issues regarding the flow of material into and out of Flex Lifestyle in support of the Customer’s programs and ensure overall customer satisfaction regarding incoming material and supply chain management.

What a typical day looks like:

• Customer Load to Commit: Objective is drive to 100% alignment for assigned customers.
• Customer RPPV: Objective is to meet and exceed annual retained purchase price variance goals for assigned customers.
• Customer On-Hand Inventory and Inventory Turnover: Objective is to rationalize planned on-hand inventory levels for assigned customers to achieve on time delivery objectives while maximizing Inventory Turnover.
• Customer Excess & Obsolete Inventory: Objective is to maintain the minimal amount of on-hand and on-order excess and obsolete inventory for assigned customers without jeopardize customer delivery commitments and requirements.
• Customer Satisfaction: Objective is to maintain acceptable levels of customer satisfaction for assigned customers as measured by Flex’s customer survey tool

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience
• Exceptional skills having managed multiple, complex programs simultaneously with respect to order schedule adherence, cost, and inventory.
• Solid experience in one or more disciplines of supply chain management and operations. Such disciplines to include demand planning, purchasing, materials management, manufacturing, logistics or other related areas.
• Demonstrated understanding of effective supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success in customer relationship management.
• Demonstrated experience in non-confrontational issue resolution with customers (both internal and external).
• Demonstrated negotiation skills in achieving favorable cost and service provisions.
• Candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated and able to effectively achieve results in a largely autonomous work environment. 
• Demonstrated ability to influence and successfully lead in a fast-paced, matrix-reporting, multi-cultural environment.
• Candidate must be fluent in writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Availability to travel internationally as required.
• Candidate must be competent in Microsoft Office applications.
