Job Summary
We are hiring General Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team in Normal, IL.
This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals interested in assembly, production, and manufacturing. Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Training is provided. Employees will assemble products and components according to work instructions while meeting production goals and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components according to work instructions and established procedures.
- Install, connect, fasten, or position various parts and components.
- Use hand tools and power tools as required.
- Follow established assembly processes and production procedures.
- Perform basic quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Identify and report quality issues, damaged materials, or defective components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
- Perform repetitive assembly and production tasks throughout the shift.
- Move materials and components as needed.
- Assist with other production and manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn assembly processes and follow detailed work instructions.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
- Reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work overtime or adjusted schedules based on production needs.
