Regional Sales Manager

A Regional Sales Manager is required to lead sales growth across a Western US territory. This is a high-impact, commercially focused role covering Arizona, California, Nevada, and surrounding Western states, with responsibility for managing distributor networks, manufacturer representative agencies, and project based direct sales opportunities across the municipal water, wastewater, water treatment, and utility infrastructure markets.

The ideal candidate will be a proven sales professional in the municipal valves, waterworks, flow control, or water treatment space and will have experience selling through distribution, rep agencies, municipalities, engineering firms, contractors, and direct project channels. They must be based in the Western US, ideally Arizona, California, Nevada, or surrounding states.

Role for Regional Sales Manager:

• Manage and grow sales across the Western US region, including Arizona, California, Nevada, and surrounding markets.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies focused on municipal water, wastewater, water treatment, and utility infrastructure applications.
• Oversee and support manufacturer representative agencies, distributors, and channel partners across the territory.
• Develop direct project opportunities with municipalities, water authorities, utilities, engineering firms, contractors, and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with:
  • Municipal water and wastewater departments
  • Water treatment facilities
  • Utility contractors
  • Civil contractors
  • Consulting engineers
  • Waterworks distributors
• Drive specification activity and project demand for municipal valve and water infrastructure solutions.
• Manage complex project-based sales cycles from specification through order execution.
• Provide technical and commercial support around the product portfolio, including product selection, application support, and project requirements.
• Identify new opportunities across municipal infrastructure projects, capital improvement programs, and water system upgrades.
• Work closely with internal leadership on regional strategy, pricing, quoting, forecasting, and profitability.
• Maintain strong market intelligence, including competitor activity, customer needs, municipal investment trends, and upcoming project opportunities.

Requirements for Regional Sales Manager:

• Proven sales experience within municipal valves, waterworks, water treatment, flow control, or related utility infrastructure markets.
• Strong knowledge of municipal and water industry sales channels.
• Experience managing and growing business through:

• Ability to develop relationships with municipalities, utilities, consultants, contractors, and channel partners.

• Ability to manage independent reps and distribution partners effectively.
