This is a general management position with the bonus of knowing your work is ultimately improving people’s lives. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Manage a busy Emergency Room on evenings and nights
• Prepare, manage and control budget, monitor and analyze variances.
• Direct employees to meet all mandatory Human Resource requirements.
• Complete performance appraisal of staff members.
• Quality compliance.
• Oversee the process of assuring the clinical competence of personnel. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates/RN Diploma For those hired on or before 1/1/2019 BSN required within 3 years, any variation has to be approved by the System CNO - Required
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing/Patient Care - Required
• 5 years Nursing/Patient Care - Required
• 2 years Previous managerial experience with demonstrated leadership skills - Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in state of practice - Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
• Licensure - Nursing Leadership Licensure within 36 months - Preferred
• Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance Required if required by unit:
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association - Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association - Required if required by unit
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - The American Academy of Pediatrics - Required if required by unit
