Responsibilities:
- Build and implement vital programs that fulfill state, federal, and local requirements.
- Lead and collaborate with operational teams to achieve compliance and sustainability goals.
- Coordinate solid and hazardous waste management activities including vendor management, shipping support, site management, facility disposition evaluations, inspections record keeping activities.
- Assist the chemical approval process by reviewing proposed chemicals for environmental compliance requirements, documenting approvals and conditions, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with internal stakeholders before chemicals are introduced on site.
- Support Construction General Permit (CGP) stormwater compliance, including SWPPP implementation, inspections, contractor coordination, corrective-action tracking, and preparation of required monitoring records and regulatory documentation.
- Provide oversight of Construction Project and General Contractors to ensure organizations’ requirements are effectively implemented Prepare compliance reports, quantify environmental impacts, and participate in regulatory inspections.
- Leverage artificial intelligence and digital tools to analyze environmental data, identify compliance trends and risks, automate routine workflows, and improve the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of EHS programs.
- Support compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and conformance with ISO14001 Represent Micron in a professional and effective manner to both internal and external parties Respond to environmental issues and carry/answer the on-call phone when assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Environmental-related field
- Strong data analysis, problem solving, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and compliance management principles.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading small technical teams or multi-functional projects
- Experience supporting regulatory inspections and external audits
- Background in both construction and operational environmental compliance
- Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.
