About the Position:
AlaBev is seeking a motivated, results-driven Account Manager to join our North Alabama sales team! This is a route-based, pre-sell sales position responsible for driving sales growth, expanding product distribution, and building strong relationships with our retail partners.
The territory covers Marshall, Morgan, Madison, Lawrence, and Etowah counties, servicing both on-premise and off-premise accounts. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a competitive drive to exceed sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an established sales territory of 100+ retail accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with on-premise and off-premise customers.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas, distribution goals, and performance objectives.
- Sell and promote AlaBev's full portfolio of beer, wine, energy drinks, non-alcoholic beverages, and other products.
- Write, submit, and merchandise customer orders.
- Identify opportunities to increase distribution, shelf space, and product visibility.
- Sell in, build, and maintain impactful retail displays.
- Maintain shelf standards, product rotation, inventory levels, and date-code compliance.
- Execute planogram standards and ensure proper product placement.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive incremental sales.
- Represent AlaBev professionally while delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Business-to-business sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a competitive, results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
- Willingness to perform hands-on merchandising and display-building responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
