Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

Onvo is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain our travel plazas, convenience stores, restaurants, and support facilities. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs to ensure our locations remain safe, operational, and welcoming for guests and team members.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-motivated, and comfortable working on a variety of building systems and equipment across multiple locations.

What You'll Do

• Perform general maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC systems, appliances, and building fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues affecting the operation of stores, restaurants, and travel plazas.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency service calls in a timely manner.
• Inspect facilities and identify repair needs, safety concerns, or potential hazards.
• Maintain the appearance and functionality of company properties, both inside and outside.
• Assist with minor IT, fuel dispensing equipment, and operational equipment maintenance as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
• Complete maintenance reports, work orders, and other required documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with managers, vendors, and contractors as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, vehicle, tools, and equipment.
• Support company safety, environmental, and emergency response programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of building maintenance systems and repair techniques.
• Ability to diagnose problems and develop effective repair solutions.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between Onvo locations.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to participate in on-call or emergency maintenance coverage as needed.
