General Manager - Fast Casual Restaurant

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead operations at a growing fast-casual restaurant in Dayton, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys building strong teams, delivering an exceptional guest experience, and driving restaurant performance.

 

The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with a strong understanding of restaurant operations, team development, customer service, and financial performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and high service standards.

• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain a strong restaurant team.

• Lead and motivate team members while fostering a positive, accountable work environment.

• Manage scheduling, labor costs, food costs, inventory, and ordering.

• Monitor sales, profitability, and operating expenses to achieve financial goals.

• Ensure food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety standards are consistently maintained.

• Deliver an outstanding guest experience and address customer feedback or concerns.

• Maintain compliance with health department regulations and company policies.

• Identify opportunities to improve operations, team performance, and overall restaurant results.

 

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a fast-casual or high-volume environment.

• Previous experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

• Understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, food costs, and inventory controls.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Hands-on leadership style with a passion for hospitality and customer service.
