We're looking for Senior Tax Managers to join our global indirect tax team. Reporting to the Director of global indirect tax, you'll play a key role in managing the indirect tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
What will you contribute?
- Own indirect tax compliance for assigned countries, including GST, VAT, sales and other transaction taxes.
- Prepare, review, and file indirect tax returns, reconciliations, and supporting documentation across 40+ countries.
- Lead transactional tax reviews, data validation, issue resolution, and tax reporting activities.
- Manage tax audits, notices, assessments, and interactions with tax authorities and external advisors.
- Monitor regulatory developments, including e-invoicing and digital reporting requirements, and support implementation of required changes.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Operations, Procurement, and IT teams to embed tax requirements into business processes and systems.
- Assess the tax impact of business, process, and system changes, and support compliance-focused implementation.
- Drive improvements in tax processes, controls, automation, reporting, and governance.
- Provide practical tax guidance, manage risks, and escalate complex matters as appropriate.
Experience and capabilities
- CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent, with 8+ years of indirect tax experience across GST, VAT, sales and use tax, and/or global indirect tax.
- Strong experience in tax compliance, filings, reconciliations, audits, and tax authority engagement.
- Sound understanding of indirect tax regulations and their application to business transactions, processes, and systems.
- Experience managing regulatory changes and evolving compliance requirements, including e-invoicing and digital reporting.
- Good understanding of tax controls, tax accounting impacts, and end-to-end compliance processes.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar.
- Strong Excel, data analysis, and reporting skills, including working with large datasets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and exercise sound judgment.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
