Product Manager

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Manager.

In this role, you will:

• Strategize marketing based on assessment of results-based environment and new opportunities for product implementation and enhancements
• Review and analyze development of new products and product lines
• Provide support for product life cycle management
• Review global market dynamics, trends, regulatory impact, and risk management
• Present recommendations to resolve more complex situations and exercise independent judgment
• Develop, implement and maintain products, services and marketing programs
• Adhere to compliance and privacy regulations and policies
• Collaborate and consult with project teams, internal partners and stakeholders, including vendors and third parties

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Product Management experience, product development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualification

• Strong understanding of investment reference data across a broad range of investment products, including Market-Linked Investments (MLIs), Mutual Funds, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), Closed-End Funds (CEFs), Retirement Benefit products, and other packaged investment solutions.
• Knowledge of Investment Products and Advisory Platforms is highly desirable, with exposure to Personalized Managed Accounts (PMAs) and Unified Managed Accounts (UMAs) considered a significant advantage.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with external data and analytics vendors such as Morningstar and FactSet, including experience reviewing and validating investment profiles, product data, and associated reference data attributes.
• Intermediate-level proficiency in Python, Power BI, VBA, and process automation.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to generate insights, automate workflows, analyse data, and summarize documents is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify gaps, manage dependencies, and drive open deliverables to successful completion within established timelines.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across business, technology, operations, and vendor teams.
• Experience supporting Wealth & Investment Management (WIM), Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB), Brokerage, Advisory, or Investment Product Management functions.
• Familiarity with investment product lifecycle management, data governance, reference data management, and regulatory reporting processes is a plus.
