Stokes Fish Company was established in 1931 and has a proud tradition of carrying the freshest highest quality seafood available and being SQF (Safe Quality Food) certified.  Our sister company, Lake Trucking Company, was established in 1961and is the largest refrigerated carrier of fresh seafood out of Florida. Located in Central Florida (Leesburg, Florida), we are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable IT Systems Administrator to oversee, manage and support our day-to-day technology. We are looking for a hands-on IT person to manage and support our day-to-day technology.

This is a practical, all-around IT position. You should be comfortable fixing problems yourself, supporting users, managing servers and networks, and keeping the company’s systems running.

Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

• Support approximately 50 Windows PCs
• Support company cell phones and mobile devices
• Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server
• Manage Microsoft 365 / Office 365
   
  • Outlook
  • Email accounts
  • Users and passwords
  • Microsoft Office
  • OneDrive / SharePoint as needed

Support and maintain FileMaker 

• Users and permissions
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Basic database changes and maintenance
• FileMaker databases
• FileMaker Serve

Support QuickBooks
 

• User setup and permissions
• Desktop/network access
• Updates and troubleshooting
• Backups
• Printer and connection issues
• Work with accounting staff when problems occur
• Maintain the company network

  • Network troubleshooting
• Set up new computers, users, phones, and equipment
• Handle backups, updates, security, antivirus, and basic cybersecurity
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Work with outside vendors when needed
• Keep basic documentation of systems, equipment, passwords, and procedures

Cybersecurity and Compliance:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate security vulnerabilities through proactive risk management and remediation.
• Maintain a strong cybersecurity posture by monitoring emerging threats and implementing effective prevention measures.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies, standards, and best practices to protect company assets and data.
• Safeguard data, network access, and backup systems while supporting disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Experience We Need:

The right person should have real hands-on experience with:

• FileMaker / FileMaker Server
• QuickBooks
• Microsoft 365 / Office 365
• Windows PCs
• Windows Server
• Computer networking
• Wi-Fi, routers, switches, printers, and internet troubleshooting
• Mobile phones and company devices
• User support and troubleshooting

You do not need to know everything, but you need to be able to figure things out, solve problems, and keep the business running.
