Job Overview
As SodaStream continues to accelerate its commercial growth across the South Europe Cluster (France, Italy, Spain and Portugal), we are looking for a Senior Commercial Strategy Analyst to help shape and elevate our commercial capabilities across the region.Reporting to the Head of Commercial & eCommerce South Europe Cluster, this is a high-impact regional role with regular interaction with Cluster leadership and local commercial teams. You will partner closely with the markets to identify growth opportunities, strengthen customer partnerships and support the development of commercial strategies that drive sustainable business performance across multiple channels.Working cross-functionally with Sales, Trade Marketing, Revenue Growth Management and Category teams, you will translate shopper insights and data into actionable recommendations, helping markets enhance retail execution, strengthen customer engagement and accelerate growth.Based in Carquefou (France), you will operate in a dynamic, international matrix environment with a high level of autonomy, ownership and influence.
Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Market Partnership
• Partner closely with local commercial teams across South Europe to identify growth opportunities and support the development of market-specific commercial strategies.• Develop and execute demand acceleration initiatives that strengthen commercial performance across multiple retail channels.• Translate shopper insights, category opportunities and market data into actionable recommendations that support business growth.• Build compelling category growth stories that create value for both SodaStream and our retail partners.
Retail Execution & Commercial Performance
• Define and implement Perfect Store standards across physical and digital retail environments.• Drive excellence in product visibility, availability and execution at the point of sale.• Monitor commercial KPIs, identify performance gaps and recommend improvement actions.• Support markets in implementing best practices that improve commercial execution and customer engagement.
Cross-functional Leadership
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Revenue Growth Management and Category teams to align commercial priorities.• Partner with global Demand Acceleration teams to share best practices and continuously strengthen commercial capabilities across the Cluster.• Influence stakeholders across functions, markets and leadership levels without direct authority.• Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies that support SodaStream's long-term growth agenda.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Commercial Strategy, Category Management, Customer Development, Sales, Trade Marketing, Revenue Growth Management or similar commercial functions within FMCG or Consumer Goods.• Proven track record of driving commercial growth, business performance and cross-functional collaboration.• Experience partnering with commercial teams and influencing stakeholders across multiple markets.• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and shopper insights into practical commercial actions.• Advanced Power BI skills and experience with KPI tracking and performance analysis.• Naturally curious about how FMCG brands grow in retail and passionate about building category growth stories that create value for customers.• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.• Entrepreneurial mindset, high level of autonomy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment.• Fluent in French and English; Italian and/or Spanish is a plus.• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
