Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional with a strong and proven successful background in Supply Chain Management to fill a critical Capacity & Growth Material Program Manager (MPM) role supporting the Patriot GEM-T Missile Product Line.  

The MPM is the single point of contact to management and internal customers, including the Program Office, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Contracts. The candidate will oversee all SCM activities needed to meet program requirements and ensure a strong link between various Supply Chain functions, including Procurement, Logistics, and Production Control. The position requires an individual who is persistent in influencing others to execute their responsibilities on time and escalates as required to achieving schedule.

What You Will Do:

  • Execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.

  • Support and engage with various Cross Functional Teams to resolve supply chain issues and serve as supply chain SME for other functional areas.

  • Drive processes to successful completion in support of a very aggressive schedule of deliveries.

  • Support financial management reviews using Earned Value Management through the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.

  • Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity plans to meet program commitments & proactively manage mitigation plans.

  • Monitor performance metrics and act to address program and functional issues.

  • Participate in CORE projects to enhance Supply Chain performance and continuous improvement.

  • Use critical thinking skills to propose sound and innovative business solutions to increase operational efficiencies to ensure business area and program success.

  • Influence team decisions and outcomes while working in a cross-functional team oriented environment.

  • Manage multiple conflicting priorities.

  • Process information from multiple sources to achieve a successful outcome.

  • Lead execution in coordination with GEM-T Product Line to increase supply base capacity aligned to LRP (Long Range Planning), implement cost reduction initiatives and reduce overall cycle time.

  • Develop and execute Partner strategies to increase capacity of GEM-T production to 100/month.

  • Evaluate domestic versus international sourcing opportunities and develop recommendations that balance cost, capacity, quality, schedule, technology, and supply chain risk.


Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

  • Defense or Aerospace experience in supply chain or production control.

  • ERP/MRP experience, such SAP or equivalent system.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office software applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel including Pivot Tables).

  • Excellent reporting/communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management, primarily EACs, and its processes, and tools.

  • Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
