Engineering Intern - Facilities

## The impact you’ll make

You will support in maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient building and facilties operations. The intern will gain hands-on experience in facility engineering, preventive maintenance, energy management, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement projects while working closely with facilities engineers and technical teams.

## What you’ll do

• Support daily facilities operations and maintenance activities.
• Assist in monitoring building systems, utilities, and facility equipment performance.
• Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and preparation of engineering reports.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities
• .Support project planning, execution, and documentation for facility improvement projects
• .Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, drawings, and maintenance documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on operational and continuous improvement initiatives.

## Who we’re looking for

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering
• Or any other related engineering disciplines

Basic understanding of engineering fundamentals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.

Min 6 months Internship period.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
