Our financial Services practice is looking for a Sr Manager - Banking & Markets

Through continued expansion, we are looking for an ambitious and talented consulting Sr. Manager to join and support the growth of our financial services practice. Key areas that specifically apply to our financial services clients are Data, Risk, Technology Strategy, and US-Based regulation. This is an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurially minded consultants who are excited at the possibility of joining and helping to grow a practice that delivers a fundamentally different experience for clients and employees.

What you will be doing

As part of our team, you will work closely with our financial services clients on challenging and rewarding engagements. You will also help us to build our US practice by working side-by-side with our senior leadership Partners to develop client relationships and business development opportunities. You’ll be a key part of building our team via talent acquisition, mentoring, and developing junior team members – As a key member of our leadership team, you will be expected to:

• • Leading, shaping, and delivering large-scale technology and digital transformation programs, supporting our clients on their transformation journeys
  • Maximizing business value for our clients through the definition and delivery of effective digital assets, AI, technology and data projects. We see strong demand in the market for pragmatic, delivery focused consultants who are capable of leading teams, and have the ability to adapt to hybrid delivery models (e.g. waterfall and agile).
  • Alongside client delivery, you will develop our thinking through industry horizon scanning and research and helping us grow our business and Banking and Markets practice
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Baringa’s global and local growth strategy
  • Actively engage in acquisition of new team members and talent
  • Mentor and advise less experienced team members

 
Your skills and experience 
 

• 8+ years of consulting and/or industry experience in Financial Services Consulting
• Experience working within the digital assets and technology functions of Financial Services and Banking and Markets organizations with demonstrable experience of developing and executing bank-wide digital strategies, understanding of different technologies and wider market digital ecosystem
• Experience across one of the following domain areas: Retail, Commercial and Corporate banking product knowledge (propositions, channels, operations, and technologies), and/or Capital Markets product knowledge (across asset classes, trade lifecycle and booking systems/models)
