Description

Overview

We are looking for an impactful, senior commercial leader to drive the growth of our Consumer business in North America. Operating at VP/SVP level, you will take a pivotal role in originating new client relationships, engaging senior executives, and building a high-quality portfolio across Consumer Electronics (CE), Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Smart Venues and wider within the consumer market.

This is a client-facing, relationship driven role, requiring a blend of technical credibility, consulting mindset, and commercial acumen to be able to deliver significant results in a complex sales, deep-tech environment. You will be the “door opener,” shaping new opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and representing our capabilities to the highest levels in multinational organisations. Your success will be measured by your ability to build strategic accounts, shape executive relationships, and contribute to a strong commercial pipeline.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Originating and growing strategic accounts across our Consumer sectors in both MNC and start-up organizations.
  • Working closely with our parent organization, Capgemini, to bring our deep-tech disruptive differentiation to existing Capgemini clients.
  • Building and leveraging your existing strong CXO-level network to develop new relationships and open new doors.
  • Leading first-stage client engagements, shaping opportunities, and positioning our offering with clarity and technical credibility.  This will be done in a team-based selling approach working collaboratively with technical, sector and delivery teams in our Boston and UK sites to develop high-value proposals and long-term account strategies.
  • Providing market insight, identifying emerging trends, and advising on where we can bring differentiated value to clients.
  • Acting as a senior representative for our Consumer business in North America, helping shape our growth strategy.

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience operating at VP/SVP (or equivalent) in a commercial, consulting, or business development leadership role. Experience selling complex, technical consulting services is a plus.
  • A substantial CXO-level contact base and strong network within relevant Consumer sectors (e.g., CE, CPG, smart home, smart venues, health/beauty tech).
  • Experience in working in a science / engineering environment so you can communicate our differentiation and understand the uncertainty of deep-tech innovation. Exposure to systems engineering, advanced tech development, emerging technologies, or regulated product innovation is beneficial.
  • A consulting-style approach, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients to proactively make propositions and understand how to deliver their business success. You will need to structure client conversations, solve problems, and shape early-stage opportunities.
  • Experience working within large multinational organisations; able to navigate sophisticated commercial environments.
  • A track record of team selling, driving alignment, and constructively pushing for the contributions you need.
  • The ability to comfortably lead initial client meetings and set a compelling direction from first contact.

What we offer:

  • Salary: $205k - $240k per annum
  • Profit-share bonus plan based on company and individual performance
  • 401K with discretionary company match
  • Life insurance
  • 13 weeks fully paid parental leave
  • 23 vacation days for full-time employees
  • Choice of medical, dental and vision plans
  • Healthcare concierge service
  • Flexible spending accounts

Future prospects

This is a high-impact commercial leadership position with significant potential for career growth. As the North American Consumer business continues to expand, there will be opportunities to:

  • Evolve into a regional or sector leadership role.
  • Shape the strategic direction of the Consumer business across the Americas.
  • Influence investment decisions, go-to-market strategy, and capability build-out.
  • Coach and mentor junior commercial talent as the team grows.
