Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Reception in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing employees, guests, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications office location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining accurate entry records, and following site-specific access procedures.
• Support security-related procedures at the front desk, including receiving deliveries, coordinating visitor notifications, and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence that helps to deter unauthorized access while communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
