Description
The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests throughout the golf course. This position represents the Club while delivering friendly, attentive, and professional service. The ideal candidate is dependable, trustworthy, personable, and service-oriented, with a strong understanding of the expectations of a private, upscale club environment.
- Operate the beverage cart safely and efficiently throughout the golf course.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and personalized food and beverage service to members and guests.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional presence while representing the Club.
- Anticipate member needs and provide attentive, personalized service.
- Accurately take orders, process transactions, and handle cash and credit card payments responsibly.
- Maintain proper inventory of beverages, snacks, ice, supplies, and other products.
- Keep the beverage cart clean, organized, well-stocked, and presentable at all times.
- Follow all Club standards for food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the Golf, Food & Beverage, and Kitchen teams.
- Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Build positive relationships with members by remembering preferences and providing consistent service.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and securing the beverage cart and service areas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Food & Beverage management.
- Previous beverage cart, server, bartender, hospitality, or country club experience preferred.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Comfortable working independently while maintaining communication with the team.
- Ability to work outdoors in the South Florida climate.
- Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on Club operations.
- Florida Responsible Vendor training or TIPS certification is a plus, if applicable to the Club’s requirements.
