Job Description:

Summary: Marketing & Communication Specialist needed to strengthen the US Corporate Communications team regarding INDYCAR activation, customer event, social media promotion, and communication support on-site. Some travel may be required.

Essential Functions: Support our brand visibility and engagement initiatives. Includes the following (other duties may be documented and assigned by management):

• Promoting our INDICAR sponsorship across marketing channels, develop content and campaigns to maximize visibility and engagement (Sponsorship activation)
• Supporting the organization of client events, hospitality programs, and trade shows including logistics, coordination and execution (Event management)
• Creating engaging content for internal communication and social media platforms such as articles, posts, visuals, videos (Content creation and Social media)

Qualifications (Education Skills and/or Special Knowledge):

The ideal candidate will:

• Able to comply with project deadlines
• MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Video editing software.
• Experience working in social media platforms and event management
• Strong organization skills
• Detail oriented
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Self-motivated
• Energetic and able to multi-task

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Entry-level opportunity with prior internship experience

Working Conditions:

Work Environment: Primarily in a professional business office with exposure to testing areas

Travel: Ability to travel domestically, possibly international
