We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Nurse Unit Manager to lead 3 Central at Cabrini Malvern.
3 Central is a 33-bed neurological, stroke and general medical ward, caring for patients with diverse and complex clinical needs. Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide visible clinical leadership while driving high-quality care, patient flow, staff development, exceptional patient and family experience and continuous improvement.
As Nurse Unit Manager of 3 Central, you’ll have the opportunity to lead with purpose, develop your team and make a meaningful impact on patient care while contributing to the continued growth and improvement of the service.
You will:
Lead, inspire, support and develop a dedicated nursing team.
Provide strong, visible, clinical and operational leadership across the 33-bed service.
Champion safe, compassionate and high-quality patient care.
Partner with medical, nursing and allied health teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Drive initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, patient experience and workforce sustainability.
About You
You will have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum 5 years' experience in an acute medical and/or surgical unit (essential).
Postgraduate qualifications in Neuroscience, Leadership or Management desirable, or be working towards.
Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
Strong communication, organisation and decision-making skills.
Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic clinical environment.
