Role Overview
You will work in a complex multi-account AWS environment and play a key role in cloud governance, Infrastructure as Code, networking, security and platform reliability. This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and building cloud foundations that enable other engineering teams to move faster and more securely.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve scalable AWS multi-account architectures, including AWS Organizations, governance and cross-account patterns.
- Build and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation and CloudFormation StackSets.
- Implement secure identity and access management using IAM, AWS Identity Center, SCPs and least-privilege principles.
- Design and operate resilient AWS networking, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53 and VPC endpoints.
- Improve platform reliability through CI/CD automation, incident response, root-cause analysis, performance optimisation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- 2+ years of hands-on AWS experience in complex environments, including AWS Organizations, multi-account architecture, Landing Zones and SCPs.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform modules and state management, IAM/cross-account access, AWS networking and CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting production cloud infrastructure, managing critical incidents and producing structured root-cause analyses.
