We are seeking applications for the position of QC Engineer for MML 10 & 12
Missions/Main Duties
Senior Survey Expert - Elevated will be.
Responsible for Topographic survey using Modern computer- based methods of Total Station, digital terrain model etc. Modifying survey data as per revised/ modified drawings.
Check the setting out data and alignment. Checking levels of profile which are used for preparing the cross-section for As-Built Drawings and preparation of various reports.
Responsible for review of data and documents. Study of topographic survey maps and satellite imagery.
Detailed Survey of the Right-of-Way of the alignment and facility areas including survey of the existing utilities and other physical features.
Planning, preparation, execution, and monitoring of topographical survey on ground including data analysis/ processing and setting up of control points
Lead and manage surveying activities for elevated structures within the metro system, including viaducts, bridges, and other elevated infrastructure components.
Develop survey plans, methodologies, and procedures to support the design, construction, and maintenance of elevated structures, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements.
Supervise survey teams, assigning tasks, providing training, and overseeing field operations to ensure adherence to surveying standards, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
Conduct surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques, including total stations, GPS (Global Positioning System), and laser scanning, to collect precise measurements and data for elevation, alignment, and as-built documentation.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to verify alignment, dimensions, and elevations of elevated structures during the design phase, providing input to optimize structural performance and constructability.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on survey-related issues and challenges, resolving discrepancies, and recommending solutions to ensure project success.
Coordinate with construction teams to establish survey control points, monitor construction progress, and verify compliance with design specifications and tolerances.
Any other responsibilities that will be assigned by the Project Director/ Dy. Project Director or his authorized representative
Profile/Skills
Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience or Diploma holder with minimum 8 years of experience.
Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
